In addition to adhering to the program’s Rules and Regulations, Participants will be required to abide to all local laws and customs while participating in the program.

The Organiser reserved the right to modify or substitue any of these Rules and Regulations from time to time as they deeem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of these provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in so doing, they will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants.

General Rules and Regulations for TBNSA Year End 2D1N Camp and Run & Camp 2017

  1. All participants are required to check in at the ticketing counter of Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam (TBNSA) before proceeding to their campsite. Please bring your Confirmation Slip that you received in your e-mail to check in.
  2. No generators are permitted in the campground. Electricity is available at strategic spots.
  3. Campsites must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Deposit all garbage in proper garbage bin located within the campground or take them with you when you leave. If the site is left unkempt, a RM50.00 fee will be charged prior to check out.
  4. Every person using the campground or other facility shall maintain it in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.
  5. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child’s safety.
  6. Swimming are prohibited at all lakes within the park.
  7. Rowdy behavior, excessive noise or swearing will not be tolerated.
  8. Fireworks are prohibited by regulation.
  9. Alcohol or any prohibited substance are strictly forbidden. If caught, participants will be evicted from the campsite with immediate effect.
  10. Outdoor Pro Group Consultancy and Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam assume no responsibility whatsoever for personal injury or loss/damage to vehicles or personal property of any kind.
  11. A “no-show” is a reservation that has not been claimed by 10:00 a.m. on 1st Jan 2018. A “no-show” will result in the reservation being cancelled with no refund.
  12. Campers evicted from the campground for any circumstance are not eligible for reimbursement.
  13. Preserve and protect your National Park areas. Leave natural areas the way you find them.
  14. Do not carve, chop, cut and damage any live trees.
  15. Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, no reimbursement will be approved for discomforts of nature including rain, temperature change and insects.

 

Parking of Vehicles

  1. Please park your vehicles at the designated parking in Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam parking lot.
  2. Vehicles are not allowed within the Park’s gated area. Special allowance may be given to the disabled (OKU).

 

Campsites

  1. Check-in time is after 2:00 p.m. and Check-out time is before 3:30 p.m.
  2. When you check in, you will be given an ID Tag and the ID Tag are to be displayed on you at all times.
  3. To rent a tent, please contact Outdoor Pro Group Consultancy at 019-8282-428. Availability are at first come first serve basis.
  4. No pets are allowed in the campsites at all times.
  5. A maximum of 4 persons are permitted per tent.
  6. Quiet time is from 3:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. All electronic devices are to be turned off during quiet hours so as not to disturb other campers.
  7. Campfires are only allowed in the fire pits provided at each campsite and only to a maximum of 0.6 metres (2 feet) in height. Fires may be limited or prohibited at certain times.
  8. Please be considerate of fellow campers and arrive early to set up your campsite. The noise created from setting up is often disturbing to other campers. If this is not possible, please keep noise to a minimum.
  9. You can bring your own food and drinks but pork and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
  10. Take care of your belongings inside or outside of the campsites at all times.
  11. Please do not feed the monkeys and be careful around them.
  12. Please feel free to cook at the campsite but please use proper camping stove and flames must be 1 feet above ground.

 

Barbecue

  1. The participation fee that you paid are inclusive of 1 bag of marinated barbecue meat (chicken and chicken frankfurters), barbecue sauces, paper plates and thong for one person.
  2. Please collect your barbecue bag from 3.00PM on 31st Dec 2017 to 2.00PM on 1st Jan 2018 from BBQ Stall next to Ticket Counter.
  3. Barbecue Pit hours are from 31st Dec 2017 at 3.00PM to 11.00PM, to be resumed on 1st Jan 2018 at 1.00AM till 2.00PM.
  4. Barbecuing are only allowed at the provided Barbecue Pit at each campsite. Barbecuing with your own Barbecue Pit is not allowed.

 

Moving around the Park

  1. You can hitch on the shuttle buses and any vehicle with Outdoor Pro Flags and you must show your ID Tag to the driver.
  2. Cycling (rental/own), skateboarding, Segway and rollerblading are allowed.

 

Convenience Stalls

  1. We will be operating stalls selling food and other convenience items for camping throughout the program dates.

 

Emergency

  1. In case of Fires at the campsites, please follow your Camp Manager to exit the premise.
  2. In case of injury, theft or damaged of any type, please report to your Camp Manager.
  3. In case you couldn’t locate your Camp Manager, please call us at 019-8282-428

Medical Indemnity

  1. Participants must be medically fit and shall take part at their own risk. The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any accidents, deaths, injuries or mishaps that, may occur to the participant before, during or after the Event. However the necessary precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of all participants during the race.
  2. Participant must retire from the program immediately, if deemed unfit/unwell after seeking medical attention/care from any member of the official medical staff, Organizer, referee and/or security officer.
  3. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to the Program registration and before the actual Program day.

Cancellation

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Program at any time without prior notice to the participant, in which case the Organizer will make effort to inform the participant prior to the date of the Program.
  2. If the Program has to be cancelled, there shall be no refund of fees paid unless the Organizer deems fit to give a refund.
  3. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel and/or add any race categories.
  5. There will strictly be no fee refund if the Program is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer or acts of God which render it impossible or unsafe to hold the Program.
